Hi, I'm Daniel Diaz. I was born in Mexico City and raised in the Salinas Valley. I've worked in tech for a little over a decade.
I'm an undocumented immigrant and a DACA recipient, which means I'm authorized to work in the United States. There aren't many Latinos in tech, and fewer still who share that part of my story.
I'm not special. It takes a village to raise someone. I'm grateful my village happened to be the salad bowl of the world.
You'll find writings about software, thoughts about the tech industry and its effects in my local communities here. Thank you for reading.
